A deep thank-you, first, to kdnxdr, our beloved outgoing AW Poet Laureate. She has taken such care to remind us of all the good things we already do, and how wonderful the world around us is. She embodies what's fine about our community: active, caring, supportive and cheerfully accepting of criticism.

Thank you, kid. What you have sent around is now coming around.

It's my great delight to announce our new Poet Laureate - someone who works tirelessly, fearlessly and cheerfully at critting, whose voice is unmistakable, and who has peers but no equals.
