Hello, I am an old newbee. Found your water cooler by mistake, but glad I did. You guys seem to be a better place to spend some time. I have been writing for ever, and fortunate that I haven't needed to have books published for my living. I have been a boat Captain for the last 20 years and can't write on a boat, too many distractions. Own a Airstream that I wander around in when I can, and live on the river down in South Alabama. Only thing remarkable about living here is that it is quite little place and I have a tree house for a writing studio, and get to live here for what ever time I have left, so each day is precious to me, as I am sure is the same for you. A word to the wise, (50 posts), it would be a good idea to participate first in helping others before you think about posting your own work. After you have been around here for awhile, then post something of your own for help. Good luck.

OK, I left the message on the wrong site. Did check yours out however and liked your web-site. Nice, and when I get down the road another week or two will have to jump into the fray and do one for myslef. I think I would name it writing on the river with a crayon.
