Hello AW!

I've been looking for a good forum to start building contacts with other writers. I think I found it!

I'm new to the writer's scene. I've been writing on my first book for about 14 months now and I'm learning more each day about how daunting the task is. However, I am not new to the forum scene. I regularly post on 2 other large forum sites.

So a little about myself, I serve in the U.S. Navy. I'm currently stationed in San Diego. I'm 23. My book's genre is cyber punk/high fantasy. My favorite authors include, in no particular order, Terry Brooks, Brent Weeks, Tad Williams, Ernest Hemingway, and T.S. Elliot. If you'd like to know anything else about me, feel free to ask.

@pandora- While in port, I have my evenings like anyone else with a job to write. Underway (at sea) I work 18-20 hour days. So I've learned how to get a quick hour in to exercise, and fit around an hour or so a day in writing...using time like lunch etc for quick naps.

@cactus-I like my popcorn with extra salt and butter. And if I'm really lucky with some snow caps mixed in.
