As you can probably guess from the headline, I am German :).

Recently I have expanded my writing into the english language and via an author's blog I have found this site. Haven't had a look at all the sub forums yet, but at first glance this place looks like it can help me in my endeavor.

I haven't published anything yet, neither in English nor in German, but I am working on changing that.

The genres I write are Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Pulp/Noir and ... well, I'd call it Weird Stuff :). At the moment I have 2 Pulp/Noir novellas in the works ...

Anyways ... just wanted to drop in and introduce myself.

Greetings and welcome to the watercooler :welcome:

Take a wander around the various forums, there's lots to see and lots to learn, and even some fun threads too. Come along and pop on over to the Newbie Pub (at the top of the Newbie forum) and say hi, there's plenty of friendly faces that you can chat with and lots of banter. There's also the Question of the Day threads at the top of the Newbie forum where you can answer random questions.

Don't forget to read the newbie guide, and if you want to know what all the buttons mean check out this thread.

Hey, Big Easy. Welcome to Absolute Write.

Pulp/noir has my attention these days, ever since I fell into a big pot of Jonathan Latimer. I look forward to seeing what you write, if you decide to post it at the Show Your Work critique section or need a beta reader.
