Hi all! I'm new here to AW and I am a freelance writer of non-fiction. I've got a degreen in Journalism but after that I worked primarily in marketing/public relations (writing for that kind of stuff!) I became a SAHM after the birth of my first child but stayed active by volunteering to do PR for some local non-profits. I also freelanced for a local lifestyle magazine for three years and coming up on three years this month I started a blog as an extension of the workshops I was teaching (it's a topic specific blog) and have learned so much since then! Now that the kiddos are all in school, I'm hoping to make this writing gig a litle more than just a side thing. I'm attending my first writing conference in May and am really excited about that! I'm looking forward to learning from you all here.
