...fellow wordsmiths. This looks like a fun forum.

A little about me: I've been writing most of my life and decided to get serious about it after I finished college not long ago. I have two novels in play right now, the first cooling after a second draft and the second in the heat of a first draft. My best laid plan is to complete them both by November.

My main experience has been with short stories and philosophical essays so moving to novels has been a steep learning curve. I'm enjoying it.

I have read the Newbie's Guide and I promise not to cuss everybody out and act like a jerk.

A word to the wise, (50 posts), it would be a good idea to participate first in helping others before you think about posting your own work. Come along and pop on over to the Newbie Pub (at the top of the Newbie forum) and say hi, there's plenty of friendly faces that you can chat with and lots of banter. There's also the Question of the Day threads at the top of the Newbie forum where you can answer random questions.
