At my grocery store they had notices about Mexican's crop losses. I hadn't heard anything about it until now and my searches couldn't uncover any major news networks covering it. There are plenty of blogs and such, but I didn't see CNN or Fox or MSNBC saying a peep about it. Granted I didn't search all day, but it surprises me something this big would remain sort of under the radar.

That's just the one area. There are multiple others that suffered similar losses. Many of the crops such as tomatoes and squash suffered over a 90% loss.
I noticed that prices have already begun skyrocketing and the effects from this crop loss aren't even on the market yet.
With the other food problems going on as well as Mexico's own problems this can't possibly bode well for the year.
