Well I'm not new to forums, and I've been on quite a few now, but this is the first writing forum, other than the small one that I made, I've ever joined. My dad suggested rather than running my own site, that I should check this one out since it would probably help out my writing more than having the nine other members of my forum commenting on them.

So here I am.

Welcome to AW. Hope you enjoy your stay with us.
How do you like your popcorn?

If you go to the bottom of the page to the ‘forum jump’ you can scroll down and find all the areas of this place. Most of the SYW areas require the password of ….vista. A word to the wise, (50 posts), it would be a good idea to participate first in helping others before you think about posting your own work. After you have been around here for awhile, then post something of your own for help. Good luck.

welcome. I think your dad is right...total strangers looking at your stuff is much more like agents looking at your stuff (but with love :) )

Thanks for the welcomes, and I know how it is with forums, and I have no problem giving people feedback on their work, I do it on different forums already. :) Though I'm not really a 'great' writer, I'm decent I think so hopefully my advice is somewhat helpful to others.

O.k., I was going to post this somewhere else, but I tend to have trouble figuring out where to post things when I first join sites.

Where would I post story ideas for feedback? Or am I supposed to wait till I have fifty posts for that as well. I've been working on this one idea for the past few days, and I'd like a bit of feedback on what people think of it.

Yep, you've got to accumulate 50 posts before you can post in the SYW (Share Your Work) forum. Don't worry; stick around a few days and you'll have 50 posts before you know it!

Welcome aboard!
