Hey everyone,
I'm new here, well not really that new, been around but just reading post.
Well, I'm here because I've been writing for most of my life-some things I finish, and others I don't--never really thought of taking it seriously.

Until I started writing a story from my childhood about my guardian angel (yes, I had an imaginary friend) the story started to take a life of its own and I can honestly say I lost complete control of my characters, they have their own minds (never happened to me before).

I started last year and stopped (writers block). Just a month ago my friend found it in her email and demanded I finish what I started (she wanted to know what was next) so I picked it back up. 30,000 words and still going! I got my editor (i know some say you don't need one, but I'm just doing it for minor details and flow to make my presentation a neater one).

I am one to admit that finishing it has been difficult! But im putting in my work.
I came here to learn from other writers, get informed, and share.
Hope to meet new people that love to do what I do (even though it can get frusturating!

Welcome to AW. Hope you enjoy your stay with us.
How do you like your popcorn?

If you go to the bottom of the page to the ‘forum jump’ you can scroll down and find all the areas of this place. Most of the SYW areas require the password of ….vista. A word to the wise, (50 posts), it would be a good idea to participate first in helping others before you think about posting your own work. After you have been around here for awhile, then post something of your own for help. Good luck.
