Crime Fiction writer from the Netherlands

Hi, just a short introduction. I'm Martyn V. Halm, and I write Crime Fiction. The first novel in my Amsterdam Assassin Series, Peccadillo, is due out soon on e-book. I'm busy working on the sequel.

Peccadillo was entered in the 2010 ABNA and reached the Quarter Finals, earning me a favorable Publisher Weekly Review. I spent a few months querying agents and publishers, but the economic crisis seems to have struck hard in the Publishing business. Instead of waiting for a print deal to come through, I decided to have a cover made and publish my book myself, retaining all rights and control.

Thanks for the warm welcome. Yes, I read the rules and, at this moment, I have no work to share - Peccadillo is ready for publication and the sequel is still in the first draft phase, so I guess I'll spend my time here finding some distraction from writing and trying to help other struggling writers.
