I'm not being lazy, my speed sucks. I apologize because this is something someone with better than dial up can look up easily.

Long story short-my book looks like it isn't going to sell. I'm over it and onto the next move. I posted a short story on Face Book and the number of views is pretty good considering I did almost nothing to promote it.

I read that the NY Times e-book best seller list will include nonfiction but can't find one that accepts memoir. I asked my agent if he would consider approaching an e-pub on my behalf, and he said "Send me the information on the good ones"

I think there's a chance he could convince one of the big guys to talk but I have dial up speed. If you guys could tell me here who the big guys are I'd appreciate it. I dont care if they do nonfic, I just need to know their names. All I get in search is self pub. Thank you :)

Care to share that list? I always assumed the "best-seller" list for eBooks would probably look identical to the print "best-seller" list, so that would mean the top publishers of eBooks would be the same as the top publishers of print books.

And you'd be right: http://www.nytimes.com/best-sellers-books/overview.html

The only exception I see is a book by Samhain, which is indeed considered one one of the top ebook pubs.

Samhain is on e of the three that only take fiction. abbott or Adams, (the list is on my FB mail) takes non fiction. They sound like a possible.

I didn't realize that publishers put their books out in digital right away. I thought the list would be e-pubs. Meh, I think I can sell some books. I have my agent convinced.

Anyway, I'm 0 for 2 with agented books with traditional publishers, so I'll try this for a while. Maybe I'll change the names and do a novel memoir.

Whatever I do you'll hear from me :D I promise

That was easy. An e-pub contacted me on Face Book and says they want to see my memoir. :)
