Um.

Um is what I say when I know exactly what I want to say but I don't want to appear too forward.

So. Um. Hi! I write. I used to write about music and movies and TV and now I'm trying to write fiction. I have two trilogies mapped out loosely in my head and I'm about 10,000 words into each of them. One is an earthbound space opera. The other is NC-17 YA noir. Which is probably a tactical error.

Sooner or later I will have to get serious about one of them. And I guess I'm here because I'm hoping that I may acquire this much needed seriousness by osmosis. Besides, it's good to share.

Welcome trailerbride. Love the name. I joined AW with a completed manuscript, ready to query agents. A few weeks here and I quickly learned it wasn't ready at all. I'm re-working, but my point is, this is a great place to get involved. You learn so much from other writers, published or not. Welcome and enjoy.
