Hi there. I'm Truul. I write science fiction and historical fiction, mostly. I've been looking for an online community of writers, and this seems to be a hospitable place to set up camp.

Bit of background: I'm a biomedical engineer by training, about to start on the road toward a Ph.D.

Look forward to getting acquainted with the folks around here.

what exactly does a bio-medical engineer do? i have a bio-electrical engineer in my WIP. do you know if there is such a thing? I thought I made it up...hmmm

Welcome... there isn't a better place for a writer than this place. And enjoy the pre-doctoral times because PhDs are mysteriously forbidden from using the word, "folks." (I dunno why, dawg, google that, but they don't.
