This is my first ever post on a forum/message board. And my first ever intro into a community of writers....scary stuff for me. So, just wanted to say hi, this forum looks great, and I hope that I can learn lots and help along with the rest of you.
Oh, a bit about me. Well, I've drafted two novels and now need to type, edit and do all the really hard stuff. Need to know more about the process and people I should and shouldn't be contacting. And, of course, getting critiques from people who aren't related to me:)

If you go to the bottom of the page to the ‘forum jump’ you can scroll down and find all the areas of this place. Most of the SYW areas require the password of ….vista. A word to the wise, (50 posts), it would be a good idea to participate first in helping others before you think about posting your own work. Welcome from another newbie! There is so much good advice floating around these boards; I just started looking around this week, and so far my favorite thing is reading forums for genres I don't even write. It's fascinating to see what problems/issues/questions are prompted.
