I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right place, but it seemed a logical guess. :)
If a writer has been asked to write a companion guide to a published book, what sort of credit does the companion guide need to give the original author? This companion is a study guide that won't be formally published, only xeroxed for a local church for use by the congregation.
They will be asking for a small donation to offset the cost of production.
Any advice?
