I have been Sparked!

I just took part in the 10-day SPARK10 Art from Writing: Writing from Art project!

What is SPARK?

An visual artist is paired with a word artist. The visual artist sends artwork to the word artist and vice-versa. 10 days ago I sent an artist a poem and she sent me a piece of art. Today I posted my response to her piece. She will eventually post the response to my poem!

... actually sounds neat, much as it pains me to admit such. A little less so now that I've gone back and changed the font to a barely legible color.

Love the "pinking universe." And I think the artist did a great job, from the pink ripples in the "warm canal" to the organic-looking growths from their center. Molecular level organic growth, seems to me, which gives a micro-aspect to a macro-concept.

I'll have to look into Spark.
