Not sure if it's been mentioned here before, but i find the Post Secret website to be a very good place for inspiration in my writing, sometimes even as a spark for various story ideas.

Check it out.

Just went there and checked them out. Very strange but enlightening.

I love that site. A lot more damaged people than you'd think, all keeping it bottled up inside...

The new postcards are put up every Sunday, so every Sunday night I'm there, like clockwork. I find them sad, beautiful, heartbreaking, inspiring and just plain strange.

I've seen this site before. Good writing fodder, but very strange, very sad. Highly disturbing.

I saw that a while back. That site highlights the undeniable messes and miracles of humanity. I can't tell you how amazing it is.

The post secret guy also managed a nice book deal (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0060899190) out of the website. It's proof positive that a simple idea can quickly lead to gold.

Also proof positive that you need to be careful what you post online. Someone might put it in a book.

The Rights disclaimer at the bottom of the FAQ made me laugh, pretty much saying....

'when you send us a card it means we get to do whatever we want with it, including making loads of money out of it, but....if anyone else out there in the big wide world uses your card to make some dosh too, without our permission....we'll sue 'em to hell.'

Ahhh, there you go...the good ol' free market economy.

Never tried it, never will. I have enough insanity going on inside my brain as it is.

this one made me sad.

I even have it as my desktop wallpaper. It inspires me.

I checked it out and told my friends. I'll probably get the book too. Very weird and disturbing sometimes.
