The name of it is Gates Of Delirium by Midnight Syndicate.

They have a very cool intro on their flash site. Here's the link if anyone wants to check it out:

Do any of you have any favorite horror sites or soundtracks?

Sincerely,

Anything by King Diamond. Seriously.

He plans these very creepy stories, puts them into lyrical form, and adds music. His vocal range is amazing, and the band is extremely talented.

My favorite is his Abigail series. It spans two CDs, and he wrote up a "family tree" sort of thing for the little booklets. The premise of the story is quite unnerving.

(Also, get his The Puppet Master.)

Hello Andrew Dugan!

You said:
(Also, get his The Puppet Master.)

Is that associated with The Puppet Master movies?

Sincerely,
Gehanna

No, it's not associated with the film. It's more recent.

I haven't seen the movie, but the outline I read at IMDB isn't the same. The King Diamond CD is about the puppets and toys coming to life and making the puppet master into their puppet.

I love Midnight Syndicate! I have 3 of their albums Born of the Night, Realm of Shadows, and their new one 13th Hour. Definately good stuff, I first heard it played at a local haunted house, now I don't celebrate Halloween without them.

For other horrific albums, look no further than horror film scores! Danny Elfman's score to Sleepy Hallow is fantastic for getting you in the horror mood. Another one of my favorites is Steve Jablonsky's score to the 2003 Texas Chainsaw Massacre, some scary soundin' stuff.

Well you got me excited, so here's a list of horror movie soundtracks (all film scores unless otherwise noted) that I love to death (yes I have several).

- Artificial Intelligence
- Blair Witch Project (not a film score, but a compilation of creepy songs)
- Dreamcatcher
- Edward Scissorhands
- Hide & Seek (horrible movie, but a great soundtrack)
- Interview With The Vampire
- Kill Bill: Volume 1 (not a film score, but includes lots of crazy killer songs)
- Sleepy Hollow
- The Nightmare Before Christmas
- The Village
- The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003)
- Van Helsing
- Wrong Turn
