I'll be doing it, but I won't be writing UF. After spending most of the year on this blasted UF manuscript, I'm taking a break and switching to epic fantasy. Haven't written anything in that genre in ages.

I'm signed up for Nano (same name as here), and had every intention of participating this year, but then the Real Job(tm) kinda exploded and I'm not sure I'll actually have time now.

And even if I do, I'm also still waffling about WHAT I'm going to write. (the choices being a new urban fantasy or book 3 of my current series)

This year will be my fifth year, but I'm not entirely sure what I'm going to write yet.

I've narrowed it down to two. One option is to write the sequel to my vampire story from 2006, which I'm currently querying. And the other option is to write something thats a mash up of urban fantasy, sci fi, and magical boy/girl anime.

Really it comes down to do I want to write something semi-serious that I've never tried before or do I want to add more to my vamps.

sadly i have to drop out. im querying and have to make revisons, plus i got a short getting pubbed and i need to work on it. oh well, maybe next year. i did write a 65k novel in 21 days back in may, so does that count lol
