I'm having the worst time trying to find paying markets that are willing to reprint short fantasy stories. Anyone know of one off the top of their head?

You can do a simple search on ralan.com (http://www.ralan.com)or duotrope.com (http://www.duotrope.com). Both are great sites.

Stormie,

I've tried ralan and duotrope. Everyone that I look at wants previously unpublished work. That's why I'm asking here. To see if someone knows of specific reprint markets.

Waylander, thanks for the link to foreign markets. I didn't know about that one. I'll scroll through and see if I can find anything.

I've tried ralan and duotrope. Everyone that I look at wants previously unpublished work. .You can do a specific search on duotrope for markets that accept reprints. On the primary search page, choose 'Reprints' under the sub details. I just did a basic search (Genre: Fantasy; Length: Short Story; Sub Details: Reprints) and found heaps of markets open right now that accept reprints, including five pro-paying markets.

As Izz posted, you can do a search on duotrope for reprint markets. That's why I mentioned it above. I've been using it for years.
But I don't write fantasy; I use it more for literary mags.

hey, Catadmin, I checked google and found this link: Hope it helps http://www.niteblade.com/submissions.htm They take reprints. The pay is only $5, but it's something. Good luck.

I think the podcast sites generally accept previously published works. I know PodCastle and Drabblecast do.
