Yahoo! Mail attachment

So I'm beta-reading on Yahoo! Mail, and for reasons that are too complex and weird to go into, I opened it, did some stuff and now I have to reopen it from the attachment. Did the usual protocol for opening attachments on Y! Mail - i.e. click on the attachment. Usually it will come up (as it did before) with "no virus has been detected...DOWNLOAD ATTACHMENT." I opened this Word document once before, so I know that there aren't any viruses on it, but the problem is, it doesn't tell me if there is. It just comes up with a completely blank little box. Almost as if I'm waiting for it to load, but it didn't have to before. So...what? Can someone help me? How can I download this attachment?

I just ran a test. It works like it did previously. I didn't have any problem clicking the attachment, the virus scan box coming up, and then downloading and opening the attachment.
