I did my first prose poetry sub today. I'm really nervous about and just wanted to share. Pathetic, no? It's so nerve wracking having to wait so long for what you know is probably going to be a rejection. This one is a set three month waiting period.

Pathetic, no?No, not pathetic. It's something you've invested yourself emotionally in, and something you want to be well received. Perfectly natural to feel nervous.

I hope the sub goes well for you. But, if by chance it does get rejected don't take it personally :)

And that three month waiting period will give you plenty of time to continue polishing your craft (which in no way is a euphemism :D).

p.s--ain't prose poetry great?
