Demand Studios: Do I stand a chance?

I'm a highschool student who has taken college freshmen level English classes from Johns Hopkins University. My mother has been sick for a while, and we really could use some extra cash, even if it itsn't much. I have a blog where I review YA books for publishers like HarperCollins/HarperTeen, BloomsburyUSA, PenguinUSA, and more. I have posted my reviews on Associated Content as well, but book reviews don't seem to pick up much traffic.

I'm interested in freelance writing, and I think Demand Studios looks great, but I'm a bit worried about the application/resume. Other than my blog, I don't really know what other experience I have to speak of. If I include that and the classes I've taken, do you think I stand much of a chance? What kind of things should I put on there?

I would greatly appreciate any help or suggestions.

They have a low rejection rate, despite their claims. Write up a how-to article as close to their format as possible to submit as a sample. You'll do fine, and congratulations on your blog, that's a fantastic achievement.
