My new blog, what do you think?

I have very recently made a blog and am wondering if I'm doing a good job. There are only two post, so far. The link to my blog is in my signature.

What do you think? Are there things I need to improve on, or any tips you can give me?

I constantly struggle with grammar and typo's in my blog, so don't take this too personally.

I noticed one in your latest update, in one of the stanzas, you wrote 'threw' (as in, 'I threw a ball.')
and I think you meant 'through' (as in, 'I went through a door.')?

Also, I'm a 'cotrasty, black and white, bold, italic' type of reader and it was a bit too minimalistic for me personally.

I also agree with nitaworm, more pics if possible!

Oh, um oops. Yes, I ment "through". Thanks for pointing that out.

Most of the time, I post from my iPod, so, until I get a computer, I can't do pictures.

Blog tip: Never EVER say sorry for not posting.... 90% of all the blog data in the known world is people who rarely update saying sorry for not updating.

Just skip that sentence and get on with the news.

It's kind of like when something bad happens at a concert... a band cancles or something. You don't tell the audience what happened, you just play the next band.

I think you currcent background picture is too distracting and kind of confusing. It looks more like an old German bible than modern fiction and I found it hard to focus on the main text with such a high contrast graphic on either side.
