Hello. I'd love a review of my blog. I've gotten a fair amount of traffic already, and not all from AW ;) I'm working on a lot of new posts (totally behind), so any ideas on how to make my 'walkthroughs' better would be appreciated. Any other tips are great too.

The objective of my blog is not just to show off castles, but to give a sense of space and layout and sometimes history. The subobjective is so writers who have castles and such in their stories can include sharper details and be inspired.

I do need to change the title at some point as I hope to have guest bloggers who can post on any fortification around the world...

Blog link is in my sig.

I'm happy to look at your blog, just point me in the right direction and give me a few days as I'll be flying home Wednesday.

It looks good to me. One suggestion I would make it to locate the pictures on the map, tp help people build up an overall picture.

Excellent point- I have been better about pointing out areas on the map with some posts and not others. Your comment was just in time to have me add numbers from the map to the text of the post I'm working on now. Cheers :)

I love your blog! I like focus on a particular theme, in your case, castles, and your subject could be very helpful for writers of fantasy that might want to research castles and castle settings but can't do it themselves.

Keep it up!

I love your photos - they're beautiful! This is also a very unique blog. Very useful, too.

The only thing I might suggest is adding pronunciation guides for the castle names and locations, or making the names links to historical information and/or pronunciations so that visitors can get more information.

Good job, though. :)

Thanks, Morgan! There are usually pronunciation guides on the web for these places, so I'll look into adding that.

I've been bad b/c I have several more castles to add and I've been neglecting my blog entirely.

It’s weird--I thought I commented on this a long time ago.
I like the set up (colors, pics, etc.) and the posts, well who doesn’t love castles?
My only suggestions would be if you could make your header longer, the width of the post plus the widget area I think that would pull it together a bit.
