Hey guys--

Looking for some professional, fast and thorough editors for the staff of a small independent fiction publisher. Primarily e-publishes; are going to small print distribution runs. The house publishes multiple genres including erotica, but is also looking specifically for editors who will thoroughly fact check all research in historical novels. If you're interested and/or looking for a gig, PM me for details and application procedures.

Oh, and must like bunnehs. And flying monkehs. Those two bits are required.

Oh, and must like bunnehs. And flying monkehs. Those two bits are required.

Oh. Nevermind then.

I PM'd you, Celina. And for what it's worth, I especially like flying monkeh-bunnehs. :D

Well, what's not to love? The flying monkeh is a bit more difficult to love than the bunny o' doom, but you can get a couple of warm fuzzies out of her too. :)

Ten percent of royalties. Fairly standard, n'est ce pas?

Oh and a new release bonus dependent upon the length of the book. Forgot about that.

I'm less concerned with the flying monkeys and bunnies of doom, and more interested in editors who are thorough, dependable, able to meet deadlines -- or provide an update when something goes awry, and have the ability to communicate the status of their projects.

The need for historical knowledge is for a specific line but is not a qualification for all editorial openings.

In addition to PMing Celina, feel free to e-mail your qualifications to ampsubmissions(at)gmail(dot)com. Attachments should be sent as an .rtf file.

Which is what I told them to do in the PMs, oh ye of little faith, so thou wouldst not be inundated with prank mail in thy precious submissions inbox.

Doofus, thy name is Birol.

:D

What? You mean by posting in the open that I'm the submissions wrangler, I've scared a bunch of hopefuls off? Is that what you're suggesting? If so, I have no idea why.

Heh. I said no such thing. I was trying to keep you a secret...erm...surprise.

Yeah. That's the ticket.
