Thanks to Jennifer Jackson's blog post (http://arcaedia.livejournal.com/226995.html) on the subject, I've just picked up a coupon from Barnes and Noble for the free ebook of Jim Butcher's Storm Front (http://search.barnesandnoble.com/Storm-Front/Jim-Butcher/e/9780451457813) (Dresden Files Book 1). I've been itching to pick this book up and see if I like him, since everyone seems to, so here goes.

Anyway, for several weeks (not sure how long exactly), if you go into a B&N store and show them your Nook, iPad, iTouch, or laptop with the B&N eReader program on it, you get a code to download a free eBook. This week's book is Storm Front, and next week is Lee Child's One Shot (http://search.barnesandnoble.com/One-Shot/Lee-Child/e/9780440335474/?cds2Pid=34033).

Hope someone else finds this useful, too!

(Not entirely sure if this is the right forum, but since it's about reading books instead of writing them, I popped it up here. :D)

Wait. B&N has an eReader program? For free? Like the Kindle for the PC?

Wow! I downloaded it, and it comes with several free books, including Dracula, which I happen to be reading!

Both Kindle and Nook have free PC editions. I got a Kindle reader for my laptop and have picked up all the Edgar Rice Burroughs John Carter of Mars books for $0.00.

Fantastic summer fare!
