I am so bored of copy writing right now.
I am working with two writing mills and while I get to choose the article they're all for the same things either universities or top attraction in some city few people have ever heard of. I've written several dozen articles for both all month and now I'm heartily sick of them.
The only interesting articles I've written this month had to deal with hair extensions.
So to deal with it I'm writing up a short story that I plan on selling to a website. Its nice to be writing fiction again, and actually planning on getting paid for it, which will be a nice change.
What do other writers do when they get bored with their writing work?

I think adding something you enjoy writing is a good thing. You need balance.
I think if you keep on writing stuff you have to in order to make money and you're not enjoying it, your whole passion for writing will disappear. So make sure you do write stuff you enjoy as well.

I am someone who has a short attention span, so I flip between different writing projects often. Sometimes I'll decide to work on articles for a week and reward myself by doing something I might not make much money at, but enjoy thoroughly the next week. It's all in the balance I think.

I completely agree Arisa. So I'm going to try writing two or three full days a week for the two writing mills until better things come along, and for the other three or four days writing other temporary jobs, and stories. Like you said it has be balanced.
Thanks for the response.
