Philip Jose Farmer's Riverworld, a scifi classic, debuts Sunday on the Syfy channel.
Considering the incredible butchering Syfy did on Ursala LeGuin's Earthsea, I'm not holding out much hope for it, but I'll watch, at least for a while. Maybe there will be a miracle and it will be at least watchable, though I doubt it.
