Here's a short description of Veiled: Seventeen year old Caedra's dull, sheltered life working at her aunt's inn is turned upside down when she meets the charming and handsome Jer. But her isn't truly changed until after Jer leaves - and men from the king arrive, claiming he is not who he seems. Suddenly, Caedra is recruited to train as the king's spy, and finds out there is a more complicated plot boiling under the surface, connecting to her own shadowy past. Forced to navigate a world of nobles and balls, spies and thieves, and myth and magic, Caedra doesn't know if she can trust anyone but herself.
