Title is pretty self explanatory.
What movies are you looking forward to and why?
What do you predict to be this year's big winner?
Any sleeper predictions, who will be the dark horse to come from behind and knock us off our feet?

Clash of the Titans.
For one reason:
Black Pegasus.
Thank you and good evening.

I'm not actively looking forward to any movies, though there are some I might be talked into going to see in the theater if friends want to go. After the massive disappointments of the last few years (Wolverine, Hell Boy II, the last couple of Pirates movies), I'm in the stage of not trusting Hollywood to do even a competent job anymore.
I'll probably see at some point:
Clash of the Titans (more for mockery, like we did the first one)
Iron Man 2
Shrek 4
And, honestly, those are all the movies I'm even aware are coming out this year.

I second Clash of the Titans. Love the original (as cheesy as it is). The effects are so bad compared to today that it's laughable when you watch it now. I look forward to seeing that story with a modern twist and current special effects. I wonder if they'll do a remake of Flash Gordon (another cheesy movie I absolutely love).
I'm GREATLY looking forward to seeing The Hobbit. I'm obviously a huge fan :-)
The final two films from the Harry Potter Series
Lastly, (getting ready to duck flying tomatoes) I look forward to Eclipse. Yes, I'm fan. Not a psychotic one (well, not anymore lol), but one none-the-less.

Clash of the Titans because it looks kinda badass...
Inception because Chris Nolan can do no wrong...
Iron Man 2 because it's freaking Iron Man 2...
The Expendables because it might be the manliest action movie since Predator...

Er, I'm somewhat embarrassed to admit that beyond the Harry Potter flicks coming out, I have no idea what's coming down the pike that I should be anxious to see. I guess The Hobbit is coming out, so I'd like to see that. I really need to get out more, or something. ETA: Forgot about the "why". I'm a big old Harry Potter fan, so that's a lock. And I liked what Jackson did with the LoTR trilogy, so I'm on board for The Hobbit, too.

Iron Man 2, for pretty obvious reasons.
The next two Harry Potter flicks.
Tim Burton and Johnny Depp doing Dark Shadows (which should be awesome!)
The English-language adaptation of Let The Right One In, which has just finished filming.
Black Swan--for purely salacious reasons (Mila Kunis and Natalie Portman having intense, drunken hate-sex).
Red, a SyFy movie I just learned is in production, in which Felicia Day is a descendant of Little Red Riding Hood and hunts werewolves.

For some reason, the trailer for Salt really worked for me.
I'm also excited for Dark Shadows. I think it will be very interesting to see what they do with it. :D

You dare to dis Ray Harryhausen? I don't recall Clash of the Titans so much, but I just finished watching 7th Voyage of Sinbad and I was marveling at how GOOD his special effects were. At least as good as CGI today, which is stunning when you consider he did it one frame at a time.

Clash of the Titans came out about 1978 and starred Harry Hamlin. It was the last movie Ray did the Fx for. I adore Ray, however it wasn't his best work. Not by a long-shot. It was a sad last-effort in a brilliant career.

Robin Hood.... Just can't get enough blood in my life.
and this movie coming up called "Out of my league" Its about this really hot chick that falls for a dork and how the dork has to deal with this gorgeous girl in his life. The trailer had me in hysterics hope the movie is half as good.

OK. I'll accept that. :)

What, no love for Diary of a Wimpy Kid? Or doesn't it have enough CGI elves blowing up banks whilst riding black pegasii and battling vampires for anybody to care?

Black Swan--for purely salacious reasons (Mila Kunis and Natalie Portman having intense, drunken hate-sex).
This movie has suddenly gone from being completely off my radar to the top of my "most anticipated" list...

Quite a few, actually.
Predators - because I'm a sucker for, um, Predators. :P
The Alien prequel - Alien + Ridley Scott = Hell, yeah!
Green Lantern - not a big fan of Ryan Reynolds, but big fan of the Lantern. And it's not a Marvel character, which is a big plus.
Solomon Cane - yeah, it's out now, but I haven't seen it yet.
Iron Man 2 - "My turn." 'nuff said. :P
X-Men Origins: Deadpool - finally an x-men movie without Wolverine as the main character.
The Expendables - Stallone, Lundgren, Jet Li, Jason Statham... even Arnold and Bruce Willis. It can't be bad.
Rambo 5 - It's Rambo.
Indy 5 - if they leave out Shia!!!!!! (and for the love of God, no nuke-proof fridges either!)

I want to see this. It actually looks pretty funny, and it's such a big hit with the kids these days...
I'm also excited for:
Iron Man 2
The Last Airbender
Toy Story 3
Tron Legacy
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1
Kitty Pryde

I'm kind of excited for the new Winnie The Pooh movie--bear with me here, people. The old Pooh cartoons are so beautifully done, and they are trying to recreate that same hand-drawn style with the new movie. "Heffalumps and Woozles (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CLnADKgurvc)" is the kind of thing I am talking about.
I'm looking forward to seeing The Hobbit too, but I'm a little skeptical of their efforts to put a chick in it. The Hobbit is a total sausagefest, and they don't really need to change that.

Las Aventures Extraordinaires d'Adele Blanc-Sec!
A new French film that my friend Alejo commented me upon about a female reporter on early Edwardian era France. Imagine a female ass-kicking Tintin in a Steampunk setting!
Here's the trailer. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HqiHR3bDpCc)

Green Zone.
I'm a fan of the Bourne series, and this film looks to be in the same vein but with a different name.
Two-minute trailer:

Green Zone for the same reasons.
Inception, because I just saw the trailer and it's by Chris Nolan, who directed Memento, one of my all-time favorites. I hope it's another one in the same genre, rather than a big-budget mammoth like Dark Knight.
Scott Pilgrim! My favorite comicbook (Scott Pilgrim) is being made into a movie by my favorite director (Edgar Wright)! And my favorite band (Metric) has already proved music for it! Yay!!! I can't wait until August.

*Black Swan -- Aronowsky directing Portman and Kunis in a horror film (btw, the same-sex scene reportedly involves a body double)
*Inception -- a Nolan original script (btw, this is supposed to be a very big actioner)
*Clash of the Titans -- trailer looks amazing, Isabella Miko and the electric thief chick from Angel
*the last two Harry Potters--just to see how they handle the final battle and Voldemort's undoing
*Your Highness -- Natalie Portman doing a stoner comedy
*The Tree of Life -- Malick's new film
*Las Aventures Extraordinaires d'Adele Blanc-Sec--closest we'll get to a live action Tintin film

You might want to check your keyboard; think there's something wrong there.
That reminds me, though -- did you know there's a new Tron movie coming out? Hope it doesn't suck!
What am I looking forward to seeing? The video of Michael Bay suffering a fatal brain aneurysm so severe it actually makes his eyeballs explode. (Fingers crossed.)
And Kick-Ass (http://kickass-themovie.com/).
ETA: Here's a list of upcoming 2010 movies (http://www.themovieinsider.com/movie-releases/-/2010/). A lot there I hadn't heard of; some sound very intriguing.
