Nursing a sick little one. The parent in me says if she had to get sick, I'm just as glad she did it now so she doesn't have to miss school.

I am finishing up my housework and errands so that I can go see Sherlock Holmes this afternoon with my sisters.
You know... the film looks like a lot of fun... But the Holmes stories were my first introduction to "adult" reading, and having read them all (and seen all the Jeremy Brett BBC episodes), I'm afraid it's made me something of a purist.
I'm going to have to figure out how to suppress the urge to scream "but Holmes wouldn't *do* that!" in order to enjoy it.

It wasn't me lol. The city in which I go to uni is the most dangerous in the United States, so this isn't a total surprise. It just hasn't happened on campus while I've been here.
