The SHUMU ROTORMEN were the greatest propeller-head rock musicians in AthaBathka. OK like where I grew up, in AthaBathka, eh, there was this dithko with all the sthrobe lithe(s) and pounding, aneurism inducing dithko rocked prop circular thingies... if only this forum had a word limit for posts... I have no idea what this is but if it would only end...

C'mon Nym... Normally we would wait for days before giving up and groveling but you know times are diffrent now. It's been an hour (more now...I'm a really slow typerist) ... does this not demand... No... Command a little clue like extra thing... ?

Ya know Nym, your avatar reminds me of 'The Sherminator' from that 'American Pie' movie.

Yes, I am trying to stall while I think of any geologists who have been shot,

(Did anyone else think the "very well" in this post had a sinister ring to it?)

And really Nymtoc, if clue #1 is not meant to lead us in the wrong direction and the scramble is really part of the rock scene, clue #2 doesn't help narrow the possibities down much... :D

Ho hum, a really sharp class would have gotten it by now, but I suppose I must deal with those whom Fate has allotted to me. :tongue

TURUM HORMONES... Gynecologist by day, Chippendale dancer by night...made all the right moves until one night when he wrote a prescription for a breast rash on the freshest dollar from his G-string, and shoved in the cleavage of a woman he never met....until the next day, when she showed up in his office and introduced herself as the new CEO of the medical practice..... yeah, well....

I hate to see people suffer, so I'll toss in a word of advice. I"ve been referring to the subject of this scramble mainly in the plural (which is legitimate, if a bit tricky on my part ). The answer, when you get it, will be singular.

Now if it was Mount McKay (a little hill just outside of Thunder Bay, Ontario where I did some growing up -- and it didn't have guys carved out of/int it...), well then I woulda had a chance. But because this was such a purley American themed scramble... How could you expect a dumb Canadian to get Mount Rushmore?

And it would be most unfair of me to pick a word and then bugger off for a couple of days... so you guys fight it out.

:)

Nymtoc, you earned a rep for that one. The clues were great and just distracting enough. I was so stuck on what could have happened in 1996....14 years ago...no, you didn't really say that. Seriously, your clues are the best.

Albedo--or anyone else out there--come up with a new word, please. I am going to hit the sack and try to get rid of this migraine I've developed...

WATERGATE, the first of what turned out to be many gates over the years, including the narrowly avoided Nymtocgate of January 14, 2010.

ISHEL EDIFIS

(room service?)

I think this is Revisionist's payback for Nymtocgate. SEEDS, FEEDS, HISSED, FISHED, SHELF, FILES, FLESH, DISHES, HIDES, DIESEL--Are you kidding?

If my name were Nymtoc, I'd say, "Oh, you're really close," then let you suffer for another hour or two, but since I am better than that, I will give another clue...

This scramble is a person who is familiar with the hotel biz.

Well, I wouldn't know about things like this from personal experience, but once I picked up a book somebody left on the bus and read about something called a No Tell Motel. Of course, I thought that was kind of a strange name for a motel, but then I've led a sheltered life...
