Since Opti started a thread just for William, I think it is only fair to include Sarah and tell her what a wonderful writer she is, too.

So it you want to say something nice about Sarah as well as William, here's the place.

Have you really read what they've written about William? LOL!
Seriously, I've come in kind of late on this process, but from what I've read, I see why they are finalists. Congratulations to you too Sarah! You are both winners!

They make a lovely couple. I just hope they don't make a Justin Loves Kelly style TV movie. :scared:

Sarah,

Thank you for all the wonderful stories you wrote in this competition. I think my favorite is the sequel you wrote to The Princess and the Pea. I laughed so hard my family thought I was nuts. (Well, nuttier than they already thought I was.)

William,
Thank you for all the wonderful stories you wrote, too. And for your poem, The Slow Crush of Time, which is my favorite from your entries.

Good luck to both of you, and no matter what, just remember how talented you are and be proud of what you've accomplished.

I just hope they don't make a Justin Loves Kelly style TV movie. :scared:How macabre would that storyline be? ("How do I kill thee? Let me count the ways... And while we're at it, how many other bodies can we rack up?")

(Thanks, Rhymegirl, for starting this thread! :Hug2: )

Tall, talented, and drop-dead gorgeolicious, Sara's verse is full of sweet irony--what more could you want. Thanks, my dear, for the great reads.

Ahhh...what a nice thing to say, Reph. :)

I've really enjoyed getting to know all the writers in the contest better. At this point, I consider Sarah and William both friends, and I'll be really happy for whichever of them wins.

We're going to have to start a AW Idol addict support/recovery thread, once this is all over. *sigh*

Hello,

I've been busy and haven't been around and haven't even read the last entries yet - but I wanted to tell Sarah that she's one helluva writer and a person and no matter what happens she's a winner in my book.

Good Luck and Best Wishes - in whatever you do!

Sarah,
You're a very talented writer and I've enjoyed your stories. Good luck in all your writing endeavors.

William,
I only have one word for your writing. Excellent. Good luck in all your writing endeavors as well.

Sarah and William,
Good luck in the final vote. :thankyou: (http://absolutewrite.com/forums/misc.php?do=getsmilies&wysiwyg=1&forumid=0#)for all the wonderful stories. If making it to the final two in this contest doesn't give both of you confidence in yourselves, I don't know what will. :) You both have a lot to be proud of and you're both winners! I wish for both of you much success in your writing careers and have no doubt you'll go far. Remember your friends at AW when you make it big. It's been a pleasure getting to know you.

hey everybody,

just wanted to pop in here and also wish sarah the best of luck in this final round, and in her future endeavors.

no matter how it works out, it was an interesting experience, to say the least, and i want to personally thank everyone who took the time to read my pieces, whether you voted for them or not. i appreciate both the support and the honest criticism i've gotten throughout.

this is a great community.

This community is great because of all the fantastic people who have made it their online home. William and Sarah, you do us proud every time you set your words down, as do all the finalists in this competition. I know every one of us will point to your accomplishments in the months and years to come and say with pride, "That's my friend who wrote that!"

Kudos to you all. http://www.absolutewrite.com/forums/images/smilies/emoteThumbs.gif

At the very least, the "loser" in this contest is going to come away with increased confidence in their ability. You've consistently wowed a pretty tough crowd.

Kudos to both of you.

Guys, no matter what the outcome, you're wonderful writers and you deserve kudos and you have made fans out of a lot of people here. Good luck and I hope to read your works (and gladly pay for the privilege) in the very near future.
