V. Greene

The e-novella is coming out Nov. 6. It's erotica/sword-and-sorcery.
My publisher sends previews to a few reviewers. I've set up a Twitter account to yammer on about the story and related things, and I have a LiveJournal to do the same in longer format. Every friend I have who has pocket money has been alerted to the existence of the book, and one of them is getting very inventive on passing on the news -- knitting patterns, would you believe? I'm debating whether V. Greene needs a Facebook Fanpage thingy.
And yet this looks dismally inadequate. If this were a print book, I'd pull together all of my nerve and approach local bookstores, but I doubt they're likely to take an interest in something they can't mark with a price gun and stick on the shelf. Likewise, most of the inventive promotions I can come up with require a handful of pages bound together in a stiffish cover. How do you promote your ebooks?
