a quick question

I am just getting back into writing after a move and everything. I got a job with Examiner.com as a writer and wondering, as it is a political gig, if that is bad for wanting writing in other areas.

I'm not sure. I don't think writing for politics means you will have a harder time getting published in other areas. I'm not the expert though as I don't write political stuff.
