The UK edition came out on 1 October, according to Amazon - does that make it the world first edition? (Your collectors will want to know that!)

Hey Janice -- I actually went to the bookstore today to look for it, but unfortunately it was still on order! Luckily, I live nearby so I'll be going back soon. I went to an independent store, Tattered Cover, vs. B&N or Borders, so maybe that explains it?

I know! I went out today LOOKING for it! the bookstore I stopped by didn't have it :( I Will be picking it up on my next day off, though, I've been looking forward to this release!

Thanks some more! Mercurio and Nayner, oh no! I had a friend in FL have trouble finding it to, though others haven't. Some stores had it early, so I guess some stores will have it later. I do appreciate you going back for a second try though :) Thanks for that!

I've been intrigued by the idea ever since I first read about it. I'm very much looking forward to reading it. And hopefully selling it too, if my work get it in :)

A second trip to the bookstore was unsuccessful too. It's special order only.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with getting it at the bigger places, but if I were you, I would get it ordered in at the independent. Your money makes much more difference for a small business, and helps them employ lovely knowledgable staff.

Yeah, I work at an independent. I am not at all biased. Honestly ;)

I just bought a copy at my local Borders (Philly area). It was on an end-cap display right next to The Graveyard Book -- great placement.

Went to Books A Million today and looked all over the store for your book. Found it in the middle of the store on a huge display table! Taking it on vacation.

Hey, Danthia! I read this and thought it was great. Your MC is likeable and determined, and the plot is tense. Great debut. May there be many more.
