Can anyone point me in the direction of a legit literary agents who specialises in representing Childrens authors. I have had no trouble finding the agencys i shouldn't go to for represenation such as childrens literary agency ect.. But am having no luck finding genuine agents if you can point me in the rignt direction please let me know any help would be greatly appreiciated

LOL. Go to the library and look at their new copy of "Children's Writers and Illustrators Market." They have a long list. It's not a matter of just representing Children's authors. Some don't do picture books, some do pictures books, chapter books and YA books, but don't do fantasy. Some don't want books with talking animals.

Either take a pen and paper and take notes of the ones that fit with your book OR some change for the copy machine.

Usually this year's copy is in the reference section, while last year's copy is available to take out. I would use this year's. Then come home and look up all the agents you found on the web, to make sure their information hasn't changed.
