What's Your Favourite Font?

... TNR for when I type things out, and Arial for when I work on the comp. Not really passionate about either, but they're both easy to read and look rather neat.

I am a horrible font whore. I have about a gazillion of them. My current favorites are Lounge Bait and GeoSans Light.

For typing, TNR is good enough for me. For message boards, Verdana.

'Courier new'.

It has been studied, and consensus seems to support that 'Courier new' is the font most appreciated by those who have to read whatever presented.
That is why I type everything in 'Courier new'. (Though I have to say that I prefer myself to read stuff in 'Verdana'.

I quite like Calibri. But for fun fonts, Pupcat and Teen Light are favourites of mine.

Verdana, but I use Times New Roman. I used to have more fonts, but lost them when I got the new Word.

Aren't we discussing something similar here?

Hoefler Text. Beautiful and readable.

That. Except I'm NUTS about TNR on paper and get irritable if I have to read anything else. I'm way too young to be such an old fart.

That makes sense. We just hardly ever have font discussions here, but I don't see why we shouldn't.

I couldn't possibly pick only one. Different fonts for different purposes. Many san serifs are easier to read onscreen. I hate Times Roman.

I use Futura a lot, and Myriad Pro. And Helvetica of course, for the massive versatility.

My fav isn't standard in the OS anymore, so I gotta keep it on file =)
Helvetica Narrow.

Mine is Palatino Linotype

Dark Courier and Trebuchet MS.
