Absolute Balance

Now that I've had my whining meltdown, I'm feeling the need for some balance. Yeah, there's stuff I could complain about, but that's never gotten me anywhere, so here's a place to post what you're actually feeling pretty good about.

1) I have a good marriage
2) My kids are healthy
3) There's food in the pantry
4) I wrote a friggin' book and it's really not too bad
5) I got all of my shillings back from SP's baboon ass
6) Summer is almost over and school starts again next week
7) My job is incredibly interesting
8) I got some comments in SYW that made me feel goldstar happy
9) I bought a new pair of slippers tonight
10) My friends think I'm invincible
11) The canabal guy I talked to the other night doesn't know where I live
12) I found a cool forum to post in where the people make me laugh
13) I own a red cape

1. I have a new computer *bounce bounce bounce squeeeee*
2. Even so, I'm not broke
3. In the past 24 hours, I've helped two people with computer problems and made them very happy
4. There's lots of food in the fridge and freezer
5. My novel rocks and will rock even more when I get back to it and my query will...be OK
6. I am a member of the Wisconsin Regional Writers' Association and I'm all over their forum like flies on poo

8. I got a nice new Susie rep

15) I get to move out of the hole and into the critical room in less than 2 hours
16) Tonight could not possibly be worse than last night
17) I'm off for 4 days after this
18) I got to act childish and call a doc that frequently pisses me off a name tonight. Yeah!

4. My child earned a scholarship at the dance studio, which saved me 100 bucks (and made me super proud)!
