What? I don't get it. Is this something I should be grateful for missing out on?

Yes. In spades.

Stupid bloody song. Stupid bloody boss not letting us listen to Planet Rock. Stupid bloody radio.

*picks up battered radio. Dropkicks it again*

It wouldn't be so bad if they didn't play it a dozen times a day.

Maybe if Radio 1 thought like this people would listen to it. I swear I was in the car the other day and Hollywood Undead came on. I am by no means hip or ahead of the time but I was listening to them about a YEAR ago. I've had the time to like, ironically like, dislike and hate them before Radio 1 got stopped playing it.

Ugh, I stopped listening to Radio 1 years ago.

I was subjected to it daily for a long time and, barring Chris Moyles, hated it. Modern "popular" music blows.

God I sound old. :D

Yippee, I'm one-up on somebody. I haven't listened to commerical radio voluntarily in maybe seven or eight years. It's just awful. Seriously, it's so bad that it's not worth the wading through raw sewage up to my chin in order to discover new music.

I'll listen to college stations, but that's about it.

Maryn, unable to tolerate crap of any type

My 3 most listened to stations are all pop - Hits 1 and Radio 1 on Sirius, and a local station. So there.

*proudly philistine*

It wasn't even Radio One. It was a local station that is renowned for picking 5 songs a week and playing them to death. Or possibly only even owning 5 records and part exchanging them once a month.

This is why we keep begging to listen to Planet Rock. But our boss likes the local station.

It's possible I may have to murder him.

As someone who's read about John George Haigh, I feel I ought to remind you to remember - teeth don't dissolve in acid. Neither does jewellery and other add-ons like hip replacements and such.

So check the goop afterwards and remove all possible forms of I.D. from the resultant squelch.

I feed the left overs to the pigs.

After rinsing the acid off, of course.
