Well, it's eerily becoming closer to reality now, the stuff you read about robots that look like realistic humans in books and movies (I suppose this would be a better fit into a movie thread, but eh, it's still kind of related to Sci-Fi. I'm sure you'd agree).

I know the first thing a lot of guys who look at this will think, and no, we don't want to hear it :P
I wonder what other kinds of things sci-fi writers can dream up that end up becoming reality someday. After all, a hundred years ago no one thought we'd go to the moon (and for some reason, some people still don't believe we've been there lol).
