Squirrels going berserk!

Squirrels are really territorial. Beyond my backyard live three varieties of territorial, frequently very angry, squirrels. They scream at each other and chase each other around and around the big oak tree. Complete and utter frenzy, coupled with loud screeching, seem to be quite normal squirrel behaviour. Maybe there's "squirrel-nip" in the acorns at this time of year.

End of the world. When they run, you might want to follow them. The animals always know.

Maybe a storm is coming. Hope not...

Maybe they heard that Inky is coming home.

Are they all the same kind of squirrel? Black squirrels can be very aggressive and chase others away. Red squirrels can be mean too, in spite of their smaller size.

Hmmm.... I don't know if this would be safe. Squirrels are very vindictive... their retribution might be worse than their antics...

WTF? Either those are freaky giant squirrels or someone needs to start a search for other members of the midget deer species.

Territory fights I think. Or other stole other's food.

Maybe a cameraman showed up and told them he was filming for Squirrels Gone Wild...

We need to set up a webcam so we can all enjoy the sight of rhymegirl chasing squirrels around her backyard.

Squirrel apocalypse!

Better they waste their energies on internal disputes than begin organising en masse.

I've been having an epic battle with squirrels raiding my bird feeders. The little dudes are savvy as all hell. And they sneer when I throw ice cubes at them from my deck.

I didn't know that my real enemy was the squirrel. I need to buy a squirrel rifle.

Back when I had a yard, I had the same gang of squirrels living on the property, raiding my bird feeders and sneering at my cats.

Those rascals would get the crazies, run up and down the trees and chase each other around for hours on end.

I had one bird feeder that was quite popular with one particular squirrel. I was working in the yard and noticed him chowing down, and decided to walk over to chase him away.
He sat on top of the feeder and waited for me to get close, then looked me straight in the eye and jumped on top of my head on his way to scramble over the fence.
What a hoot!

They gave me hours of entertainment, but cost me a fortune in bird seed.
