The best place to post works for critique is the "Share Your Work" board. It is divided by genre, so first decide where you would like your post to appear and then ask one of the moderators to move your thread there.

Very insightful indeed. I'm not sure thats what you're going for but it was. I think though I might need a little more. I'm quite sure right now what exactly the story is about. I mean somewhat but I need more. I like it so far and wish that you would post more to read. I espically like the opening:

All sentiment aside, the world is either God’s basement or the Devil’s attic. It’s a place where the powers-that-be store their junk - the stuff that they don’t know what to do with, the loose ends kept for sentimental reasons but not good enough to put out for company, or worse yet, remnants waiting breathlessly for spring cleaning.

Yes, I changed the name. I must've been in my cups or hormonal or channeling a 14 year-old angst-ridden-poetic-pinhead when I came up with 'Restive Soul.' Gag.

I joined the site and shortly thereafter abandoned it for vacation (yay!) and some family obligations (sorta yay) and some spring cleaning (*chirp*.) When I returned I was horrified to see what I had tagged myself and the Admins were kind enough to save me from myself...

I do need to ask them to move this to the right forum! Thanks for the reminder. Have you posted anything from your post-apocolyptic novel?
