Moon Over Amtrak started back in 1979 when a bar patron offered to buy a drink to anyone who would moon the next train. One man took him up on it and--flash--a tradition was born.
Sounds to me like the mayor's a killjoy.

They couldn't find any way to tax it, so they decided to ban it.

Dang, I'll miss it, going to be riding Amtrak into California in late July (perhaps it is for the best, I'm a bit behind on my cellulite treatment).
It must be nice to live in a city that's so frugally managed and corruption-free that the mayor has time to focus on the really important issues.
Sounds like they need to moon the mayor's office next. :D
ETA: Now can we please put an end to this? :)
ETA2: Shouldn't this be datelined Kentucky instead of California?

It would show a real sense of humor if Amtrak were to add a caboose to their trains that day.

BTW, the whole Laguna area is gorgeously beautiful. My ideal beach. I lived there once, butt briefly!!
