It appears I'm all alone on this site right now. No one appears to say anything. Lol.

Hello! :)

The night owl crew is around but most are either consumed with runaway fingers taking their stories to new heights or, like me, putting said fingers in time out (Ie: Procrastinating)

I second what Caramia said, we're here, it's just that our fingers are gainfully employed. If I only knew where mine were working, I could get them back.

And welcome.

I'm happy to oblige. Is it night owl syndrome, or a different day already for you?

It's only 1:30 here, but, you're correct. I don't sleep much either. That's what dying is for.

Very, very true. I just don't feel the need for oversleep like most people. I enjoy staying up sometimes, other times i just can't sleep.

7pm here. I'm just re-reading the third book in my series. I finished writing it two days ago. I had a good little book signing at my granddaughter's school earlier in the day, so I'm taking it easy. The sleepy feeling is part due to evening meal. I grated zucchini and carrot and squeezed them dry. I added grated onion and cheese and cooked thin, crisp fritters. Try it some time. Nice!

Does your brain stay functional into the wee small hours? Usually past 2am my typing goes all to hell and parsing sentences become something of a chore. Plus, drool on the keyboard makes the keys slippery. 9:55am here in Bonnie Scotland.

Ha ha. Yes I'm quite capable of being able to type this late into the night.. or morning maybe, whatever way you want to look at it. I just don't appear to need much sleep lately. Or maybe that's just the impression I get in my head.

My brain functions, but the communication flow is somewhat spotty between brain and fingertips.

And I have tried those vege fritters. As a carnivore I still give them a thumbs up.

I get approx 4 hours of sleep at a time. What happens after a while of that is a day of complete coma.

Yes, it's 2 am here and I just finished my required nightly pages are done, and the brain is thoroughly fried.

I originally typed "fired" so that tells you exactly how well the fingers are working.

Good night, AWer's. (oops, apostrophlea....)

Ha. Interesting. Other people who can't sleep well. Or choose not to. I thought that was just me.

Nope, working on my labor of love. Cause if I didn't love it, I'd be hacking it to bits right now.

Yes. I think we all love what we do. Well, I guess I can only speak for myself, but I enjoy writing so much. It's my release.

Are you protective of your writing like I am? For some reason, I fear if people read it and don't like it, it would suck..

Not protective. I've actually got the first scene of chapter one posted. What happens for me when others read my work is that I'm ok with whatever you have to say about it, as long as you have fact/context behind your statement.
