Nonfiction Newbie

Hi everyone, hope all is well. Trying to switch from the world of law to the world of writing. Having a hard time getting started. But the forums are very helpful.

I begin the querying process on the 3rd. 32 query's, 11 rejections, 2 request for partials, still in limbo...

Not sure if I know what agents I should be querying???

The difference between non fiction, narrative nonfiction, etc?

Thanks for all the feedback on my genre question.

I also posted my query in SYW, and have gotten a lot of great feedback. So it's not as long winded as it used to be and I actually like this one better. I think I will start the querying process again sometime next week.

I've been reading a lot of the forums and getting the hang of things. I also have been trying to get in the habit of critting, especially after receiving all the feedback I did on my query.

Funny thing is that lately, being Kinsley's Mom is one of the only things I am sure of anymore. As I am running away from the law, I mean my career in the law, after years of the law defining me, I've got a lot of stuff to figure out... like what's next!
