There's a new Christian agent in the field now (sorry for the pun). For the time being he isn't representing Christian non-fiction but is interested in both Christian and secular fiction as well as secular non-fiction. Further specifications are available in the thread I've linked to.

Thanks! I have sent him a query. I did not specify that I write Christian-themed books, since the one I queried about can go to both Christian and secular publishers. We'll see what he says...

He rejected both my Christian works...looks like from the people getting responses on the B&B boards he's interested in more secular works with little if no Christian elements in them.

I really don't think there's a large enough sample there to come to any conclusions at all, other than the fact he isn't restricting himself to Christian books.

I haven't heard back yet, he must be swamped.

Woo-hoo, I have received a full request from Alex!!

Better yet, it is the second full request that has come in today. I can't believe it. They came almost within the same hour.

It only took 1 day! Wow. I sent him my query 2 weeks ago. I wonder if I should re-query?

I wouldn't recommend that. If you read his blog, he's in the middle of moving. And two weeks is way too fast to check in on a query.

Yes I did see where he is moving to Colorado. I was just re thinking my query. I think it may have been too short, after reading the queries in SYW...

Colorado, hmmm...wonder if he plans to check in at the ACFW national conference in September? Anyone going? I am.
