Hello everyone.
I found my way here through a reference on Twitter and have been consumed with clicking my way through forum after forum. I thought I best pause and introduce myself (and give my mouse a break).
My name is Linda and I live in beautiful Oklahoma. I have three grown sons and am patiently waiting for my husband to catch up. <g>
I have seen a lot of colorful characters in my past (and present) and would love to capture some of their essence and personalities in my writing. I have been working on a novel for many years now and feel it is finally time to complete it and start another.
I am hoping ya'll (hear the Okie twang?) will guide me through the dos and don'ts of this site.

So howdy do! and a big Yeehaw to ya'll.

Welcome to AW.

Don't: Don't start any bar-be-que wars. ;-)

Just kidding. Just ask if you have a question about anything and someone is sure to reply. You might want to read the FAQs just to get familiar with the basics.

Welcome.

If you're trying to capture memories of events, try using a tape recorder and just start talking about what happened.
You'll find lots of useful help here.
