does the entire story have to take place in a cemetery, or can there be scenes located elsewhere, provided the cemetery is the central location of the story?
thanks in advance.

Scenes can take place elsewhere. Cemetery just needs to be the central location.

Will, a cemetery is a tailor-made location for you... and you want to change it?! ;)

hmmmm maybe I should have read this post before I posted in the join in the fun thread????....wonder if I would have normally been disqualified? Oh well, Thank God I'm not a finalist.(yea, like that would ever happen....(huge belly laugh, snorting pepsi through nose on keyboard).

not change it, just build around it, i guess. i have two ideas, one solely in a cemetery, and one where it's the central location, but not the only.
just wanted to know how open my options were before i decide which road to take.
ironically, it didn't help.

I can't imagine this will help you, and I hope to post it tomorrow, and I have the latitude of ignoring the theme somewhat since I'm not a finalist. But for me, the cemetery is the catalyst for the story, but nothing actually happens in the cemetery. Like I said, if I were a finalist, I don't know if I could get away with the piece. Not to mention, I do comedy about as well as I do poetry.
Good luck to you all.
